Mandy brings a wide-ranging set of skills to the ETHOS business administration team. Her experience in accounts management within the commercial sector and front-line services in the NHS has proven beneficial to us.

Following her commercial sector work, she successfully led an ISO 9001 certification process, before moving into a patient-facing environment in health.

Mandy’s health service journey began as a ward clerk in the busy Acute Medical Unit in Exeter. This proved to be an extremely challenging role in the triage, with bed allocation and discharge aspects of healthcare delivery that she came to find very rewarding.

More recently, Mandy moved into working at a local GP practice as a receptionist and trained to be a pharmacy dispenser, prioritising patient safety and working with the team to coordinate patient needs with health and care professionals, booking appointments, dispensing, and consulting with external NHS providers.

She brings first-hand knowledge of the challenges across the sector and just like the rest of the ETHOS team, Mandy loves the NHS and is passionate about patient safety.
