Our team has a combined experience of working in the NHS of over 100 years and have health sector experience, including clinicians and senior leaders working nationally and internationally.
Our advice revolves around the provision of professional services mainly to the UK, with future global opportunities.
ABOUT OUR CEO
Our co-founder and CEO authored the original UK NHS clinical safety standards, leaving us perfectly placed to provide expert advice to the digital health industry and those organisations who commission these services. This includes UK NHS Trusts, regional UK Integrated Care Boards, manufacturers of medical services and digital health software providers.
Our CEO continues to lead and author international (ISO/IEC) standards for health software. Over the last 15 years, he has established a position of subject matter expertise that is trusted and known across the NHS and wider digital health community (i.e. co-author of the NHS Digital Clinical Safety Strategy). This fosters trust with our client and partner organisations at first contact and grows to include the provision of additional services.
We specialise in three key areas:
- Security – Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Governance, and Privacy
- Safety – Clinical Safety, Medical Device Product Safety, and Clinical Risk Management
- Effectiveness – Clinical Outcomes, Efficacy, and Effectiveness Measures.

Following the Masterclass run by Stuart Harrison of ETHOS, we took up the offer of assistance in writing a DTAC statement, which in our case is a statement of why we fall outside the scope of DTAC.
ETHOS was brilliant in taking time to understand our business, were a genuine pleasure to deal with, and provided us with the statement tailored to us. With their expertise I’m sure it was a fairly simple process but would undoubtedly not have been quite so straight forward if we had to do it ourselves.
