Earlier in the year we had the pleasure of connecting with the pioneering Dr Rachael Grimaldi founder of CARDMEDIC.
Straight away we believed in what Rachael was doing in light of the pandemic. Working with Rachael we have helped shape the Information Security and Clinical Safety compliance for this digital health product for use within the NHS. Sometimes the opportunities to learn come from the most unique ideas and this was certainly the case.
CardMedic is a free flexible digital communication tool designed to improve the transfer of vital information between frontline healthcare staff and patients, no matter the barrier – be it language differences; visual, hearing or cognitive impairment; or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It encompasses an A-Z collection of communication flashcards covering common healthcare topics, written by clinical experts.
